GIZ-funded Revolving Credit Fund (sub-award under GIZ Prime Subaward Agreement 81291008, May 2026 – Dec 2027) for existing micro, small and medium enterprises in Anbar, implemented in cooperation with the Near East Foundation (NEF). ILP manages eligibility criteria, loan appraisal, disbursement, repayment follow-up, risk control and business monitoring; repaid funds are re-lent to new borrowers (EUR 80,000 of the award is dedicated loan capital) to expand businesses, create jobs and strengthen household incomes.

Strengthened rural women’s rights, safety and participation in peacebuilding and electoral processes in Al-Qaim and Fallujah through awareness, community dialogue and engagement with local decision-makers.

Advanced the UNSCR 1325 agenda through school-based activities and SGBV awareness sessions; built women’s leadership and business skills and supported women farmers with vocational training and agricultural inputs.

Raised the status of rural women in Ana, Rawa and Fallujah through UNSCR 1325 activities, SGBV awareness, leadership and business training, and economic support to women farmers.

Promoted climate awareness and environmentally sound practices in Al-Qaim, Heet and Fallujah through community education, practical environmental initiatives and engagement with local authorities and youth.

Improved displacement-affected women’s participation in stability and peacebuilding and expanded their economic recovery opportunities; delivered vocational training in cooking, smart agriculture, pastry making, hairdressing, poultry, and printing and office skills.

Increased women’s resilience to social inequality and climate change by improving access to services and livelihoods through agricultural vocational training.

Rehabilitated communities in Tal Afar and Ayadhiya and built sustainable social cohesion through community-led initiatives countering violent extremism.

Reduced the impact of plastic, organic, industrial and medical waste pollution in Anbar through environmental protection activities.

Worked with youth groups, community leaders and decision-makers to deliver five community initiatives promoting peace and dialogue.

Built the capacities of vulnerable women to participate in community development, prevent violence and manage family conflict, through awareness sessions and practical skills training.

Delivered awareness sessions countering vaccine rumours and promoting health-care uptake (total action cost USD 30,000).

Amplified women’s voices against violence in Fallujah, Heet and Al-Qaim.

Improved the psychosocial wellbeing of 121 students from diverse ethnic communities in Mosul and Dohuk.

Strengthened active youth groups’ contribution to stability through mediation, communication, negotiation and leadership training.

Trained 160 young men and women (18–35) in Fallujah in carpentry, blacksmithing, cosmetics, hairdressing and tailoring (total action cost USD 117,000).

Trained 140 young men and women (18–35) in agriculture, beekeeping, electrical installation, plumbing, MS Office and CV writing (total action cost USD 27,000).

With the Union of Agricultural Engineers in Anbar, provided USD 150 vouchers for agricultural tools and modern farming training to 100 war-affected farmers (ILP as co-partner; total cost USD 20,000).

With the Chaldean Society in Ainkawa, trained 50 young men and women in Word, Excel and Photoshop to improve employability.

Supported 150 farmers in Al-Zawiya, Heet with agricultural tools, training and awareness (ILP as co-partner; total cost USD 15,000).

Distributed 1,500 food baskets to 1,500 families in 20 villages and towns of Al-Qaim and Al-Obaidy during the liberation period.
